Senior Moments - *NEW*
Charlotte Senior Sports, Inc. serves as the coordination organization of the men's senior league. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation serves as the coordination organization of the women's senior league. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation provides fields for both leagues.
Saturday Practices - Practice sessions are held on Saturday mornings when fields are available. Please check with team or league personnel to verify dates.
Spring League - April through mid-July.
Fall League - August through early November.

*** 2012 Spring League Registration ***
Registration for the 2012 Spring League will open January 23. All players must submit a new Player Profile Form. If a reassignment is requested please indicate in the Comments section of the Player Profile Form.
*** Spring Team Formation ***
Fall 2011 team rosters will form the nucleus of the Spring 2012 team rosters. First time players and players returning after an absence will be placed on rosters as openings are available.

Tuesday nights, April 3 - July 17.

*** Spring Fees ***
Spring League Fee - $40 ($20 for players age 70+ as of December 31, 2012)
The first 234 paid players are guaranteed roster positions. Players in excess of 234 will be assigned to a Wait List. To reserve your place please send your registration fee following the submission of your Player Profile Form. If you are assigned to the Wait List your registration fee will be returned.

*** Other Playing Opportunities ***
In addition to the Charlotte Senior Sports weekly league there are numerous additional playing opportunities available for those who wish. Organization for these teams is primarily in the Spring for players wanting more time on the field. Charlotte Senior Sports does not establish the rosters for these teams; rather player information will be provided to anyone interested in putting together a team in any of the following leagues. Please note playing age restrictions.
(1) Carolina Senior Softball League (CSSL) - Saturday play against area teams. Restricted to age 55 and above.
(2) Home-Home Series - Similar to CSSL but usually arranged with teams somewhat further from the Charlotte area. Games may be on any day of the week. Restricted to the age of the competition, usually 60+
(3) Travel Teams - Friday-Sunday tournament play. Restricted to age 50 and above.
(4) NC Senior Games - Registration for this one-time event in Raleigh in September is in April. Restricted to age 55 and above.

Want To Play?
Registration for Charlotte Senior Sports leagues is by individual. Men, age 45 and over, are eligible for play. Playing age is your age as of December 31 of the current playing year. Registration fees, noted in the center column, are payable at the time of registration. Checks should be made payable to Charlotte Senior Sports and mailed to 6312 Mission Place, Charlotte, NC 28210.
