Registration - Summer, 2008

Rosters are full but registration for the Summer 2008 league remains open. Registrants will be placed on a Wait List and assigned to a team as soon as a roster position opens up. The player fee of $40 provides for jerseys, field preparation and reservation fees, umpires, game balls, and administration costs.

Boomers and Masters

Charlotte Senior Sports will experiment with two divisions in the Summer League - Boomers and Masters. The Masters Division will be for all ballplayers who desire a little more laid-back competition. The Boomers Division will be for those wanting to play more competitively.

Other Playing Opportunities

Although most rosters are full a number of additional playing opportunities are available for those who wish.
(1) Carolina Senior Softball League (CSSL)- Saturday play against area teams. Restricted to age 55 and above.
(2) Travel Teams - Friday-Sunday tournament play. Restricted to age 50 and above.
(3) Home-Home Series - Similar to CSSL but against teams from further away. Restricted to the age of our competition - usually 60+.
(4) NC Senior Games - Registration for this one-time event in Raleigh in September is closed. Restricted to age 55 and above. Team rosters have been established in three age groups - 55, 60 and 65.
More information regarding these opportunities is available upon request.
